An Anti-Corrosion Superhydrophobic Copper Surface Fabricated by Milling and Chemical Deposition

The development of anticorrosion coatings on copper has raised tremendous interest in material science. Using a milling method, regular rough structures were fabricated, and after chemical deposition with AgNO3 solution the modification stearic acid, superhydrophobic substrate could be obtained. surface morphological study showed dendritic microstructure, rectangular bulge produced by was distributed substrate. water contact angle as high 158.4°. best anti-corrosion coating sample milled cutter tip distance 0.30 mm. as-prepared good self-cleaning effect. Scratched knife abraded friction, still maintained nature. mechanically stable possessed corrosion resistance.
